Charles Raiford Pendergast

Charles Raiford Pendergast of Thomasville passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 at Archbold Medical Center. Services will be held at Barnett's Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM February 10, 2010 with interment in Barnett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery the Reverend Harold Thomaston officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Larry Tuten, Byron Griner, Cecil Stewart, Sammy Davis, Jimmy Gunter, and Randy Stewart.
He was retired from G.E. in sales and was a farmer. The son of the late John Raiford Pendergast and Theatis Wade Pendergast, he was born in Grady County, GA on January 25, 1938.
He was a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include Donna Davis his daughter of Thomasville, GA
Mike Pendergast (Marlene) his Son and daughter-in-law of Thomasville
Kimberly Palmer his Daughter of Thomasville
Faye Tuten(Larry) his Sister and Brother-in-law of Thomasville
W.L. Pendergast his Brother of St. Petersburg, FL
Grandchildren: Samantha and Travis William Jr., Seth Davis, Cole Pendergast, Cody Pendergast, and Nikki Palmer, and
Great Grandchildren: Ella Williams, Davis Williams, and Sammy Davis
Preceded in death by a brother Melvin Pendergast and two sisters Willene Watkins and Deloris Carlton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
